Why Gospel Planting Partners?
Our mission is to multiply Christ followers who multiply Christ followers.
People need to know God loves them, Jesus died for them, and the gift of eternal life is available to them through repentance and faith. Christ gave us, His followers, the Great Commission to go share that Good News (“Gospel”). Yet many remain unreached with the Good News and there are not enough Gospel communities.
A Gospel Community is a gathering of Christ followers whose primary focus is demonstrating and declaring the gospel to their neighbors and making disciples.
As Missionaries we see God calling us:
- to share the Good News of God's Amazing Grace,
- to grow Gospel centered communities of Christ followers,
- to encourage new and struggling churches and their leaders, and
- to inspire small groups and SS classes to become more Gospel focused.
The Lord provided us with a truck and 5th wheel trailer which enables us to deploy on-site to churches or underserved communities.
Matthew 9:37-38 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Why Focus on Southwest Montana?
In 2021 Montana Baptists invited us and the North American Mission Board endorsed us as missionaries to Southwest Montana.
For perspective, SW Montana is half the size of our home state of Missouri, but there are only 25 SBC churches in our region. The population is growing and widespread in mostly small communities that are unreached or underserved with Gospel teaching churches.
