We currently serve as missionaries to Southwest Montana.  We work closely with Expedition Church, Livingston, MT as members of their church planting team.  In addition to our weekly ministry of sowing the Gospel in Whitehall MT, we seek to minister encouragement to pastors and their wives in SW Montana (many of whom pastor small, isolated churches).  Also, we work to connect and coordinate mission teams with these churches.  

We both came to personal faith in Jesus Christ in our youth. Phil, when he was 9 years old and Laura when she was 5.  Along the journey, there have been many setbacks, failures, and detours, but the one constant has always been God's grace and faithfulness.

Phil successfully planted two new churches, one in Wyoming and one in Missouri, both of which were self-supporting within two years, and one acquired land and built a facility within four years. During those difficult years, God sent a steady stream of partners and ministers of encouragement. We now seek to "pay it forward" to the next generation of pastors and church planters. 

He has served in various pastoral roles, from being a founding pastor for 20 years, to serving churches as a transitional or interim pastor; and has served as a chaplain with the Missouri Highway Patrol including the post-critical incident team to assist officers who have experienced a traumatic event.

Additionally, he has coached church planters domestically and internationally and has a certification in Strategic Planning with the Malphurs Group. 

Laura is a devoted ministry partner, Bible teacher, and wife who has served in many church ministry and administrative roles. She has a heart for encouraging women, especially pastors' wives. 

We love spending time with family and friends, laughing, finding adventure together, including hiking, running, and anything outdoors.
